Saved by the Bullet

Armed with a keen intellect and determination, Adeline Furlough, or Addy as her friends call her, dedicates herself to unraveling a mass murder mystery that took place in 1856, a year before she arrived in the frontier town of Brownville, Nebraska Territory. The sheriff, concerned with protecting the fledgling town’s reputation, obstructs her efforts at every opportunity. Meanwhile, a murderer is at her heels with pistols cocked and loaded. Addy will need all of her daring, wit, and repartee, as well as the help of her friends, especially that of the charismatic Mr. Davenport, if she is to untangle this new mystery before the villain catches up with her.
