The Crescent Stone

Taylor wishes for nothing more than to run away from her backwoods town and free herself from the controlling grasps of her constantly changing foster parents. But the unexpected discovery of a mysterious stone makes her wish she could have her old life back.
After moving across the country to a new home with her loving grandparents, she begins to gain unexplained mysterious powers from the stone. She is soon pinned in a battle between a power-hungry, war-mongering major, and a cold professor with his alienated gargoyle orphans.
Struggling with her own morality, Taylor must now decide the fate of mankind.
