The Intellectual Justification

We live in a world of the intellectual justification. By succumbing to his intellect, the most im-portant tool God provided man to facilitate him on his wandering on Earth, he managed to turn it into a tool for his annihilation. He ignored his spirit, and so the intellect became a curse that eventually is going to bring his downfall and his demise.This free short story is a prelude to the events of "The Prometheus Cycle: the Star, the Sword, and the Mirror" and focuses on two characters from the novel. In this story, the Legion and the Navy has set to rid the Southern Seas of pirates and organized crime but find foes more than their match.
