A man escapes from the clutches of the arena just to find himself in the beginning of a great and terrible war.An unnamed man escapes from a seemingly endless life of killing. But, after a series of injuries as well as the destruction of an old friend's home, he finds himself at the start of a war that expands throughout time and space.(An old, abandoned short story... and possibly a prequel). = )
