What lay outside the sphere was a great unknown. Valiros has many mysteries, but none as peculiar as the thousands of Trojan Devices scattered throughout the land. We had no idea where they’d come from, what purpose they served… or the danger they posed.I was one cycle and eleven phases old, and I’d managed to live seven hundred and two days of an unremarkable life.
