Up here in my cabin in the woods, no one knows who I am and I like it that way. Then she shows up, strutting in heels, tossing her silky, golden hair and smelling like vanilla and honey. She’s exactly the high-maintenance, gold-digging type I’m trying to avoid.

Only I can’t get Violet out of my head. All I want to do is haul her over my knee and see that pretty mouth of hers open with a pant, a gasp, and then a long moan. I’ve been living in the wilderness for a while now. If Violet sticks around, she’s going to find out exactly what it means to go wild.

I’m a city girl. I’d never been to Vermont before I had to go scout a location for our network’s next reality show.

First thing I learned: rural towns grow ’em big. Powerful, too, with thick, corded forearms and shoulders I could sink my fingernails into. No L.A. boy ever made my pulse race like Heath.

I’ll wrap up this deal and then I’ll leave and never look back. Except each time Heath touches me I can’t remember my name, let alone my sales pitch. And I’m starting to realize that if I seal this deal and get my big win, I might have a lot to lose.
