The Experiment

Jude Brannock is an investigator for an animal protection organization who's allowed herself to become romantically involved with a new colleague ten years her junior - a young man named Tim Mains. Jude is having second thoughts about the professional ethics of such a relationship when Tim suddenly vanishes from his undercover position at a laboratory that's testing an experimental drug on animals.She sets out to find him in the outwardly bucolic farming town of Half Moon, only to find that he may not be the man she thought he was. Determined to find out if Tim was, in fact, using her all along, Jude digs deeper and begins to see a connection between the drug being tested at the laboratory and cases of unexplained bleeding in some of Half Moon's population. How the drug escaped the lab will ultimately answer the question of what's happened to her young trainee. But she will pay a heavy price to find out.
