In a world where everyone falls asleep as soon as the Dark falls, there are a select few who remain awake. The famous Dreamcasters of the realm have the prized ability to actually dream while awake. Soon-to-be-eighteen-years-olds Lyght and Mikael are one of these chosen few, and seek to confront the mysterious Dark with their abilities. At least, before a surprise arrives in their hometown.
