The Cardinal's Snuff Box

English novelist Peter Marchdale settles in to do some writing in a quiet villa in the Italian countryside. His earnest plans are thwarted, however, when he discovers that his landlady is the beautiful young Duchessa di Santangiolo, with whom he has been secretly in love for years.
