The Princess of Cleves

Mademoiselle de Chartres is a young lady of fifteen at the court of Henry II of France, looking for a marriage match. Her mother suggests the unremarkable Prince de Cleves, and soon the girl is wed. Only after the wedding, does she meets the charming Duc de Nemours, and the spark of love is ignited.
