The Half-Hearted

As the nineteenth century draws to a close, Lewis Haystoun finally decides to start living the life he has only read and written about. He meets Alice Wishart at a Scottish country house party and soon finds himself taking off on adventures in Kashmir, seeking success with a new love and a new land.
