It's great to meet someone from home. Andy Horan is delighted when he discovers that he and Martin Prendergast grew up on neighbouring farms, albeit forty years apart, in the West of Ireland. However, he is baffled as to why his attempts to get to know Martin better are rebuffed.Martin Prendergast was not guilty of the crime he was blamed for, but there was no way to prove his innocence. Instead he has to flee to England for his life,never to return to the country and friends he loves. Forty years later Andy Horan also has to leave his family and girlfriend behind and go to England to find work.
