The Monarch of the Forest

A young man discovers that a story told by his grandfather may not just be family legend, but a modern legend with implications for the future of the old forest where his grandfather lives.The world grew up and left its legends behind, but Jason is soon to discover that his grandfather's big deer story may be the beginning of one of the world's legend's final chapter.Development threatens Jason's grandfather's house and his aunts and uncle are threatening to put their father in a nursing home. This may seem like an odd time to go hunting, but Jason's grandfather insists, begging him to bring the Monarch of the Forest to the front porch. As Jason takes to the changing and shrinking forest, he discovers that just because he's not a legend like his grandfather, he may be the one to bring a legend to an end.
