The Good Parents

Most conscientious and loving parents want what’s best for their children. They do all they can to raise, protect, and provide for them in preparation for a successful and productive independent life. Sometimes, they become so obsessed with short term and mundane issues they overlook obvious, critical factors that can have a huge negative impact on their lives and the lives of their children.Caitlin and Robert were two such parents, the good parents, in most ways, the best parents. In everything, they made their lives and their comfort secondary to the welfare of their daughter. Those formative years were meticulously organized and planned for the superior upbringing of their daughter. Nothing was left to chance. They went to extraordinary lengths to consider every factor. Nonetheless, one did get overlooked. It was a critical one with grave consequences.This is the second of three interconnected books. Please read “A Night at the Opera” before beginning this story.
