Karen's Island Adventure

Karen's excited to be spending spring break at a resort in the Caribbean. But when she tries to befriend Sandy, the only other seven-year-old there, she's discouraged. Sandy participates in only the quietest activities and seems to reject Karen's attempts at friendship. But when she learns why Sandy seems so standoffish, Karen works hard to prove that she can be understanding. And in the end, she learns a lot about what friendship really means.
