Serena is haunted by memories of the night that changed her life, the night of the outbreak.Gabriel wants to find out everything about Serena, and feels a sort of attraction to this mysterious girl. While he is watching her, his family goes on two separate missions to find food and a save haven where they can start a new, better life.A small slice of everyday life for a girl living in a silent city.I had the idea for this story kicking around in my head for about a year or so. After the NYC Midnight competition I felt like writing another short piece, so I went ahead and finally wrote it. No prompts or anything.
