Nancy is always on the look out for a mystery, but when it comes to choosing a birthday present for her father, she hasn't got a clue! But then, another mystery comes her way - one that involves Heather Simmons, a leading candidate in the upcoming election for Mayor of River Heights. Nancy is pretty sure that Heather's daughter Leslie, musician extraordinaire, has been kidnapped. But the thing is, nobody is saying a word about it!
