This story won't bring back the people who've disappeared. It won't bring comfort to the people who've lost their loved ones. But maybe it will show people what's at stake, and why we're all in danger. Stay alert. Stay awake. And watch out for blue eyes, shining in the dark.It started with my professor going missing. But as I searched for him, I found out he wasn't the only one to vanish.On April 24th, 2012, six people from Toronto and Etobicoke disappeared within twenty-four hours. No one has ever seen them since then.This is the story of Sam Flautt, the first of the six to disappear. It is told through Sam's point of view, reconstructed from interviews, recordings, and fragments of journal entries.I'm not sure if this story is true. For the record, I hope it's not.But, just in case, I will stay awake. I will watch out for blue eyes, shining in the dark.
