  With a pastry brush, lightly brush a thin layer of beaten egg over the top crust.

  Toss 1 tablespoon of sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over the crust.

  Serve this gorgeous strawberry and peach pie with a scoop (or two!) of ice-cream and some sliced toasted almonds for a wonderful dessert or for tea.

  Serves 6

  1 hour

  Ingredients:-

  2 Pie Crusts

  4 cups fresh Peaches, cut into slices

  2 cups fresh Strawberries, cut into slices

  1 cup + 2 teaspoons Sugar

  1/3 cup All-Purpose Flour

  2 teaspoons Lemon Juice

  ¼ teaspoon ground Cinnamon

  1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg

  1/8 teaspoon Salt

  Directions:-

  Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.

  Mix together sugar, flour, nutmeg, salt and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.

  Add peaches, strawberries and lemon juice and combine all ingredients together.

  Prepare the pie crust by rolling out one portion of pie crust and transfer to a pie plate.

  Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.

  Roll out the other portion of pie crust and place on top of the pie filling, sealing in the sides.

  Using a pastry brush, brush the top crust with some milk and sprinkle 2 teaspoons of sugar over it.

  Bake pie for 40-45 minutes.

  Simple Plum Pie

  A delicious pie filled with ripe plums of a gorgeous deep maroon hue. Serve with ice-cream on the side for a glorious dessert like no other!

  Ingredients:-

  2 Pie Crusts

  3 pounds Plums, cut into slices

  ¾ cup Sugar

  ¼ cup Cornstarch

  1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

  ¼ teaspoon Salt

  3 tablespoons Butter

  Directions:-

  Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.

  Roll out 1 portion of pie crust and transfer onto a pie plate.

  Prepare the filling by tossing the slices plums, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and salt together.

  Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and dot with small piece of the butter.

  Roll out the other portion of pie crust and place on top of the pie filling, sealing the sides.

  Bake pie for 1 hour and let cool at room temperature before serving.

  Sweet Cherry Pie

  A beautiful and delectable sweet cherry pie comes together really easily and with wonderful flavors to serve up at your next dinner party.

  Ingredients:-

  2 Pie Crusts

  4 cups fresh Sweet Cherries, cut into halves

  ½ cup fresh Raspberries

  ½ cup Sugar

  1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

  ¼ cup Cornstarch

  1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  1 tablespoon unsalted Butter, chilled and cut into pieces

  1 Egg, beaten

  1/3 cup Almonds, sliced

  Directions:-

  Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.

  Next, prepare the pie filling by stirring together cherries, raspberries, lemon juice, vanilla extract, cornstarch and sugar in a large mixing bowl, set aside.

  Roll out 1 portion of the pie crust dough and transfer onto a pie plate.

  Spoon the pie filling into the prepared pie crust and place the pieces of chilled butter on top of the filling.

  With the other portion of pie crust, cut out ¾-inch strips with a knife or pizza cutter and arrange these strips on top of the pie filling to create a lattice design.

  Using a pastry brush, lightly brush a thin layer of beaten egg mixture over the top crust.

  Ingredients:-

  1 Gluten-Free Pie Crust, blind baked

  3 cups Strawberries, cut into slices

  4 Egg Yolks

  2 cup Low-Fat Milk

  ½ cup Sugar

  ¼ cup Cornstarch

  2 tablespoons Butter

  1 teaspoon Orange Rind, grated

  1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  Directions:-

  Have the oven pre-heated to 350 degrees.

  Start by preparing the pie filling. Have the milk and egg yolks mixed together in a mixing bowl with a whisk. Set aside.

  In a medium saucepan, heat ½ cup sugar and cornstarch over medium heat.

  Add milk mixture slowly into the saucepan whisking until the mixture comes to a boil. Let mixture boil for about 2 minutes until it thickens, whisking constantly.

  Take the saucepan off the heat and add butter, orange rind and vanilla extract.

  Transfer the mixture into the pre-baked pie crust and cover with a cling wrap.

  Pop into the fridge to chill for at least 3 hours before layering strawberry slices on top.

  1 Egg, lightly beaten

  1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  ¼ teaspoon Salt

  ¼ teaspoon ground Cinnamon

  1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper

  Directions:-

  Have the oven pre-heated to 425 degrees.

  Roll out 1 portion of pie crust dough and transfer to a pie plate.

  Next, prepare the filling by tossing together blueberries, cornstarch, vinegar, sugar, honey, salt, pepper, vanilla and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.

  Spoon the filling into prepared pie crust and dot the top with the cubed pieces of butter.

  With the other portion of pie crust, cut out ¾-inch strips with a knife or pizza cutter and arrange these strips on top of the pie filling to create a lattice design.

  With a pastry brush, lightly brush the top of the crust with beaten egg mixture.

  Bake for 20 minutes before bringing the oven heat down to 375 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes. At the end of the total time of 40 minutes, remove the pie and cover with a sheet of foil before returni

  6 cups Black Raspberries

  1/3 cup Sugar

  1 Egg White

  ¼ teaspoon ground Cinnamon

  ¼ teaspoon Salt

  Directions:-

  Have the oven pre-heated to 425 degrees.

  Roll out 1 portion of pie crust dough and transfer to a pie plate.

  Prepare the filling by mixing together berries, both types of sugar, cinnamon, salt and flour in a large mixing bowl.

  Spoon the filling into the prepared pie crust and dot with pieces of butter.

  Roll out the other portion of pie crust dough and place on top of the pie filling, sealing the sides.

  Using a sharp knife, cut out an “X” in the middle of the top crust.

  Brush the top of the crust with egg white and then sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of brown sugar over.

  Bake for 35 minutes.

  For the Glaze:

  Prepare the pie filling by mixing sugar, flour, cloves and cinnamon, stir to mix well. Throw in the sliced pears and toss in the mixture to coat thoroughly.

  Roll out 1 portion of pie crust dough and transfer into a pie plate.

  Spoon the pie filling into the prepared pie crust and dot with pieces of butter.

  Roll out the other portion of pie crust dough and place over the pie filling, sealing at the sides.

  In a small bowl, combine milk, sugar and butter to make the milk glaze.

  Using a pastry brush, brush the milk glaze over the top of the pie crust.

  With a sharp knife, cut 5 slits in the top crust.

  Pop the pie into the oven and bake for 1 hour 50 minutes.

  Let the pie cool for at least 3 hours before serving.

  6-8 Mangoes, sliced

  1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  For the Whipped Cream:

  1 cup cold Whipping Cream

  1 tablespoon Sugar

  2 teaspoons Lime Zest

  2 teaspoons Lemon Zest

  1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  Directions:-

  Have the oven pre-heated to 350 degrees.

  To make the filling, toss together mangoes, spices, sugar, flour, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, lemon and lime juices and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.

  Roll out 1 portion of the pie crust dough and transfer to a pie plate.

  Spoon the pie filling into the prepared pie crust.

  Roll out the other portion of pie crust dough and place on top of the pie filling, crimp the sides to seal. With a sharp knife, cut 4-5 slits in the top crust.

  Using a pastry brush, brush the top of the pie crust with egg mixture.

  Bake for 10 minutes, before reducing the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 50-55 minutes.

  Let the pie cool at room temperature for at least an hour.

  To make the whipped cream, whisk together all the ingredients for the whipped cream and spoon a dollop on top of each slice of mango pie to serve.
